Cochin University of Science and Technology is a government-owned autonomous science and technology university founded in 1971. CUSAT is traditionally known for its research and education in the physical sciences and technology, but also in the field of law, management and many more. CUSAT is ranked among the India's top universities.



School of Engineering (SOE) is one of the six schools of CUSAT. SOE has seven academic departments. The School offers Btech, Mtech and Phd. B.Tech programmes offered by School of Engineering,CUSAT have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) under Tier-I system. A number of research projects of national importance have been sanctioned to the school by agencies like DRDO, ISRO, DST, AICTE, UGC.
